It was a little chilly today. We got our cold breakfast at 9:30 from the Bed and breakfast, which was included in our fee and then headed out to get a feel for Dingle. We went down to the ocean and walked up and down a pier and looked at the fishing boats. It started to rain a bit but we toughed it out. We finally found a place to rent bikes which was a little tough on a Sunday morning. I guess the Irish are a little slow to get up on a Sunday. Hehe. The bikes were ∉ 10 a piece and once we got them we went to the Grocery store to pick up some Baguette and turkey for lunch and then headed out to the tip of the peninsula. There was beautiful landscape with cliffs and rolling hills. It was really windy but we brought along plenty of clothes to keep us warm.

On the way back Gene’s chain fell off so we put it back on. Also he got his handle bar clipped by a car that then stopped to make sure that he was ok. The roads were really narrow at spots but the cars usually gave us a decent space and always waited until they could make it over to the other lane. Once back in town we checked our bikes back in and then grabbed our bags from the B&B and took them to the Grapevine Hostel. I went out to buy us a ∉2.99 frozen pizza at the supermarket but it was closed so that was a bummer. I found a place to get a cheeseburger around the corner and picked one up and then headed back to the Hostel.

We had seen signs for a beer called Murphys so Gene and I headed out to a pub to give it a try. The beer was dark like Guinness but had a watered down flavor and was not that good. It was a knock off of Guinness I think. At the pub there was some nice traditional live Irish music being played which was nice.
